A stranger goes on a hike into the forest. He sets up camp for the night. When he hears a deep howling, he sticks his head out the tent and is attacked, leaving him . An anonymous man drags his body to a house. The injured Stranger awakens in a bed as a woman nurses him back to health and then the man and woman play a game with him- a game that pushes him to the brink of madness. Now I must say that I have no idea what this film is about and neither did I understand much of it. There is little dialogue and what we do have is awful.Shots with nothing going on linger way too long. Most of the movie goes completely unexplained. Drew Harwood as writer, director and actor has created a film that is unwatchable. The homoerotic elements, however, are well done.
The characters have no names and the film is setin a remote countryside with no other signs of life, apart from an old man who turns up once in a while to silently collect some fresh eggs. We know that this can never end well, but we really do not care what happens. We feel as trapped like the stranger in the house, and that we are all going nowhere.
