Knock at the Cabin
UniversalWen is vacationing with her dads, Eric and Andrew, at their remote cabin. While catching grasshoppers, she is approached by an imposing stranger names Leonard. Initially friendly, he explains that he needs her family to help him save the world. Soon, Leonard and a few other armed strangers take the family hostage - demanding that they make an unthinkable choice to avert the coming apocalypse. With limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe to be true and what they're willing to sacrifice... before all is potentially lost.
Based on the novel "The Cabin at the End of the World" by Paul Tremblay, Knock at the Cabin has been skillfully adapted by legendary writer-director M. Night Shyamalan and features all of the carefully-calibrated hallmarks of his best work. It's also, commendably, a major mainstream blockbuster featuring two gay parents as the lead characters.
